SO i'm nearly finished on modelling this street, it was taking a lot long than I thought I went with a lazy idea of copy and pasting most of the building but in a different order to show varity.
I'm happy with how it looks, I'm not bothered about the uv's for the moment because most of them wont be used. The ones that will be used will be sorted out first.
To save time I will model the subway station entrance in this scene so I can used to building around it.
The next steps for me is to add accessories like lamps, mail boxes, etc... Apply the shaders, Render it all and then create matte paintings to extend the background.

Can you put up your new and improve script for the teaser and and can you give me confirmation of how much you have done on the characters please.
Plus could you keep this in mind for the scirpt, remember Kolade's idea of have a shadow of the centipede going throught the subway station at the beginnning of the trailer, I think we could reintroduce that now, the station will be very easy to make and the scene will be effective for the new teaser.

Science Room UVs sorted

Generic Car Orthographs
Like the generic man, we should be able to use different radiators and bonnets to create some variation, and also dress these to be either cabs or police cars.
Generic Male Orthographs
Since we have a crowd scene, we'll need plenty of slight variations on this guy - I'm thinking different hats/hairstyles, moustaches on some, as well as different coloured suits
Modelling the Characters plan
As you guys know, we are a little behind and time is running out so we need to get as much done this week as possible. To spread the workload a bit all three of us must model at least one character each and then Kolade will model the remainder. What I want to know is, what character do you want to model. Personally I don't mind doing the Scientist. However it is mostly up to you Kolade. Seeing as I have the head already done for the centipede, I could finish it leaving less work for everyone. So comment back on what you guys want to do and then get cracking.
On another note Dan the Orthagraphics look wicked, however how are the car concepts coming along. Please get these all done today if you can, remember we need a tank too, possibly an army truck of some kind.

Science Room Update
Almost there with the modelling, just a couple of things left to flesh out the place. I'm really liking this! The room is very busy and well arranged. My only issue at the moment is, does is look like a scientist's room or an office? Maybe I will look for some objects to add to bring it back and make it look more scientific.
However if this gets the greenlight then.... woop :D
Science Room Improvements and Developments
I felt the large window wasn't working so I cut it down to two small versions either side of a wall and I think it looks a lot better. Curtains will be added in time. I have added a couple of lamps and frames to flesh out the decor.

Science Lab Development
For the lab room I looked at the science room in "The Deadly Mantis".
So its just a Lab in a terrace like house and thats what I have kept in mind whilst doing it.

Heroine Orthographs
Since she's meant to be the niece of the Scientist, I tried to show they are related. They share an underlying head structure and nose, and also there's a bit of similarity between the silhouette of her dress and his lab coat. At the same time, her shoulders are referencing the hero's sleeves too.
